| The
language and stories features built into BoggleNoggin's award-winning
software are proving to be highly adaptable to indigenous languages.
Recently we used our story framework to produce multi-media versions*
of "The Legend of the Caribou Boy" and "The Old Man
with the Otter Medicine." The multi-media CD's contain Windows
and Macintosh versions of the stories as well as audio tracks so young
readers can also listen on their CD player while reading along with the
print book.
With proven software that can deliver on almost any computer or over the internet, our production team can work with language groups to quickly convert existing content into powerful multi-media stories. In June of 2007 we presented our software at the 14th Annual Stabilizing Indigenous Languages Symposium hosted by the University of Michigan. Feedback was very enthusiastic and we are now working with several groups to create important language resources for their communities. The BoggleNoggin team can also work with groups to create powerful and flexible language applications for language preservation and stabilization.
